Assignment 1 - Resources Doc

- Create a Folder in Google Drive. Share it with me.
- Create a Google doc named Resources, share with me in your Google Docs Folder.
- Organize your doc by date.
- Keep the doc open during each class to add any notes that you wish. Make entries each day, e.g., web sites/links that you find useful and interesting for your teaching, or ideas that you want to use.
- This Doc will also help you organize and prepare your final presentation!!

Collaborate in this Document on the topic: Three Technologies that I anticipate using, or that I do use, in my teaching (PowerPoint and data projectors do not count!)
Type your first name and insert a horizontal line
Write about the topic as it relates to your curriculum and what and how you are using technologies in your teaching - may be point form
Add two images to illustrate your thoughts.
Add one comment to each of your group members' entries.
Docs will be shown on the projection screen in class.

- Create a form with a minimum of eight questions--in addition to Name and Email--using all 8 different question types. You may add more questions if you wish. Date and/or Time question types are optional but you may want to use these as one of the eight questions if they are applicable.
- Use the image feature at least once.
- This form may be an evaluation, a review, a test, or an assignment for a course that you teach
- Add a theme
- Share the spreadsheet with me
- Embed the form in your wiki. Complete at least three peer forms on their wiki.

Create an EDUCATION account - very important to choose this option!!
We will create a sample video using Animoto learning the details of the program.
Animoto Assignment -
Create a focusing event video in Animoto - with music - approx. 2 minutes in length
Identify the topic of the lesson in the video, some key terms or points for students to know, pictures, videos - you may use these from Animoto's gallery or other sources.
Upload your video to your YouTube Channel to embed in your website.
Assignment 7 - Wiki

- Create and design your wiki to include the work that you do/create in this class. You may include other content in addition to that created this week, e.g., resources that you may wish to use for future lessons
- Home Page - headings, outline of wiki content, pictures
- Two additional pages created and developed
- Include at least one video
- Embed your Google Form Assignment (new page)
- Submit your wiki address to Eva (via email) - also invite Eva as a member to your wiki - use ebrownorama@gmail.com
- Present your Wiki to the class on Friday - describing how you could/will use technology for teaching/learning in your curriculum. This is not a microteaching lesson but a presentation on sharing your ideas/work. Each student will be allotted 10 minutes for the presentation--so make it count!

Assignment 8 - Web 2.0 Tools - groups of two

In groups of 2, explore and learn how to use a web 2.0 tool, how to use it in your classes and then present the findings to the class in a 20 minute demonstration and interaction to allow your peers to experience this tool. Create an example to illustrate to the class how your tool can be used in your curriculum. Embed your example in your wiki (each group member embeds to their individual wiki). You may find https://sites.google.com/view/cool-tools-for-schools/home to be a useful resource for this task. You may use any resources that you wish.

Create a rubric that you can use for one of your upcoming teaching assignments, e.g., practicum, using Rubistar and Kathy Schrock's website.
Base your rubric on your learning from Testing and Evaluation and other teacher education methods and curriculum courses.
The rubric must consist of four categories with four evaluation levels.
Save/submit/export your final copy as a .pdf and upload this file to your wiki Assessment page.
